The –21°C gastro ice pack in Gastronorm GN 1/1 format has been developed for professional use in catering, gastronomy and temperature-controlled food logistics. Its standardized GN dimensions make it ideal for large insulated boxes, thermal containers and professional transport systems.
With a weight of 4,500 g, the GN 1/1 ice pack provides very high thermal mass and supports stable frozen temperature conditions for the transport and shipping of frozen food and temperature-sensitive products.
Inside the ice pack, high-quality phase change materials (PCM) are used. PCM (Phase Change Material) absorbs heat during the phase transition, enabling a long-lasting and even cooling effect around –21°C.

Cold Release & Preparation
For optimal cooling performance, the gastro ice pack must be fully frozen prior to use. Recommended conditioning:
- At least 36 hours at –30°C
- Alternatively, at least 24 hours at –35°C
Proper pre-conditioning is essential to ensure reliable frozen temperature support during transport and storage.
